**** Four Stars

Four Stars
“A triumph over tragedy”
“A fantastic story for anyone looking for hope in this world”

This movie starts with the surprise birth of twin girls to a couple in London, Ontario. For a good portion of the movie it reads like any other typical suburban family drama that is on the screen. A nice family with 2 parents and 3 young kids right out of Leave it to Beaver. A health crisis for the mother brings about a change to the young family. The rift is healed between the father and her parents. There is a happy ending.
There is a lot of sadness in this story. The tragic death of her twin tears the family apart. I felt like I had to look away while the family struggled to put the pieces back together. It was an interesting study on how grief affects each person differently. A brutally honest portrayal by our heroine.
Then tragedy came again with the death of the patriarch.
At the end of the movie there is hope. The heroine of the story finds her voice, her passion. While I didn’t come away with the happy ending we all hope for I was left rooting for her.
